What do you guys think? Berto is just an exciting fighter to watch. He's always in there to be in war. His body shot were great tonight. I just wish he fought a little more on the outside. He gets in exchanges and takes big shots when he clearly doesn't have too. Great fight. Congrats berto.

His corner looks 10 times better from the ortiz fight. it was a ****ing mess.

I was impressed and he proved his doubters wrong.. what you guys think

and props to zaveck. He is a game fighter and i would like to see a rematch in the not to distance future

Congrats berto. the 2x WW champ and now bring on randall Bailey ( he will get stopped too)

I thought Zaveck was landing the cleaner shots and was neck and neck with berto the whole fight. It sucks it had to be stopped.

Looked like he always does. Good power, great handspeed, lack of defense and lack of ring smarts. Same ole Berto as always. He'll live and die by his style.

I thought Zaveck would have a good chance to win as the fight went on. Was not that impressed with Berto I thought the fight was pretty close.

Berto did NOT look good at all, he was way to easy to hit, he got by on pure athetic ability tonight. He has all the physical tools needed to be a great fighter but unless he get a new trainer, he will only be good never great. IMO Berto is fighting like a black Arturo Gatti, he is very fun to watch but unless changes are made he will lose again.

I agree. Zaveck seemed tough as nails too so it wasn't an easy fight by any means. Take Floyd and Manny out of the 147 division and who's there at the top, Ortiz and Berto and he'll, even Zaveck should be mentioned.

I feel the same. Except I'll also add that I think Zaveck was on his way to beating Berto. Berto was starting to get hit more and more and was gassing, with Zaveck taking the initiative with the cleaner harder shots. Most of Bertos shots were taken on the gloves of Jan.

Berto still fights like an amateur instead of a professional. Still open for upper cuts, routinely smothers himself, doesn't know how to fight on the inside.
