Not the best opponent but im glad the Kiko fight is put off for a while as I think Carl needs more experience .

Same here Moorser. I know a lot of people were saying if Frampton could improve then he's have a good shout against Martinez but it looked to me like that fight would have come too soon for him.

Yeah Kiko has improved a lot in his last few fights and going by Carls last fight Kiko would have had a very good chance of beating him, with a few more learning fights I think Carl can take him .

Didn't they offer Casey a decent purse and he wanted more?. There's not much else they could of done.

Slap said a intercontinental title holder prospect...this isn't quite the prospect i'd hoped for though .

Dissapointing if true, a blown-up 33-year-old bantam with zero name recognition.

I'm sure they have probably been let down on God knows how many opponents but I would have rathered to see a rematch with Turley than this.

Nah, I said "an unbeaten prospect for an inter continental title"

I am assuming that that is the guy they said they were going to announce "within 48 hours" 5 days ago.

Oh  my bad. Well still not what i'd hoped for but tbh in a way i'm happy Carl's getting a decent enough fight. I was slightly concerned about the Martinez fight for obvious reasons.

I agree with some of the posts on here - Frampton would have suffered a bad loss to Kiko, the fight way too soon. It's probably a blessing in disguise that Kiko pulling out forced him onto a saner path. Though let's face it, the Commonwealth Title these days isn't exactly a powerhouse in boxing, especially when coming down from a proposed shot at European.

EDIT: Just looked at this new opponent's record on BoxRec. It's dog ****, isn't it? Frampton should easily win this, and the publicity surrounding his fight will be a huge benefit if he does the business and looks good against this guy, which he should.

Seriously though guys if Carl looks bad against this guy it will be his second disappointing performance in a row live on sky, it could do terrible things to his future career and pay days. Thats why I really hope he does a number on this guy.

Shocking opponent, but will be good to see Frampton pick up a title.
