I think all that pre-fight emphasis they made about Conte was a pile of shite.

Berto was looking a bit gassed when the fight was stopped in my view.

if kell brook isn't champion when khan chooses to move up then berto is the next obvious opponent.

khan would definatly be favourite as berto is flat footed which would allow khan to circle him and control with the jab with the odd combination coming together. berto's best chance is if khan gets complacent and he catches him flush and finishes him.

I think Khan would comfortably take this. It would be a pretty perfect introduction to the 147 division if he wants to take a fight at the weight before looking to go for Mayweather.

Berto's awful for the level he's supposed to be at.

Khan with ease, why are people picking Berto?

I was taking ****, but dunno if rest was. I don't rate Berto the guys a flatrack bully and Khan's shown enough improvement to show he's better.

I never got the fascination people had/still have with Berto. Showed how truely one-dimensional he is against Ortiz. He's got a decent jab and a dangerous right hand, thrown straight and as an uppercut, and that's it really. He's horribly predictable and inaccurate, telegraphs his punches, if he has success with a certain blow he'll constantly look to replicate it(and he isn't very subtle in how he goes about it). His stamina is poor also which leads to his constant clinching, which he really should be penalised for more often. The advice from his corner is poor without fail too.

For all the shot Khan gets - and he gets a lot of it - he's still a level or two above Berto, and he's a better fighter than even the very good posters here give him credit for.

Yep agreed. When he fought Urango the guy literally hit and held all night against a man coming up in weight. I started to see his mentality against Quintana and i'm so glad he never fought Mosley because he may of beaten him and got the big fights that he really doesn't deserve. He is literally a hype job.

BTW jpab can you not pick a British fighter to win please ;).

Nah, Shane would have chinned him.

His legs and his jab aren't good enough..... he'd have had to engage Mosley and unless you're super durable it's an early bath.

:yep I still don't know where that guy was coming from. Since I've joined I've been accused of being biased against British fighters and being biased towards British fighters. I don't understand.

Also, lets quash the myth that I'm an Indonesian boxing enthusiast because I watched John-Yordan and found it better than Ortiz-Berto.

Whether or not I'm a ''laugh down the pub'' remains to be seen though.
