Lets wait till he fights someone with a pulse, his power was not so impressive and he had the guy hurt and did not finish him off.

Hope he does well but I am waiting before I buy into this hype.

    His defense is nothing special.

Yeah I think he has a good defense, but he just forgets to use it because of his opposition. If he was to fight Juan Manuel Lopez, I think you'd see a much slicker fighter

Yes and no. His speed is impressive but it looks like arm punches which makes you wonder what Gamboas punches would look like if he was shoe shining like Russell. Gamboas speed comes with power. Imagine those 2 exchanging ala Morales-Barrera 1

I have a feeling Russell would end up on the ground.

Yes combination wise he is the fastest today. And I don't think he's feather fisted, he has decent pop. He's put hurt on just about every opponent he's been in the ring with, just doesn't them away. Doesn't have Gamboa power of course but incredible hand speed.

I'm sure he easily has the power to put people away if not for his hurt hands.

I wish he could afford to take off, at least six months or so, to see if he can get it/them healed well. Probably can't afford to do so at this point in his career and life.

You mean the fastest hands... with the least amount of power behind them for someone with elite hand speed.

We will find out as soon as he steps up, being that he has no defense, and his stamina seems to need work as well.
