Just got done watching the fights (my friend recorded them so I could watch them today as I was busy yesterday)

The Berto fight was a good scrap! Berto turning into a fairly exciting fighter. Much Respect to Zaveck..... for the most part of the fight, while it a very competetive fight, I def felt like the sand was quickly running out for him and that it was only a matter of time before the momentum shifted to Zav, however, then Zavs face started to get really bad and then you could see him wilt ever so slightly.... but still he wanted to continue and Im sure it would have been a great fight down the stretch as well.

Awesome fight and much respect to both warriors! Hope to see more of both of them very soon.

Brook is actually facing Jackiewicz next in an eliminator to become Senchenko's mandatory.

In a close fight full of give and take, Zaveck broke Jackiewicz's five-year long 21 win streak. So, yeah - he's the next best thing to facing Zaveck for Kell. A step up from Jennings and "I'm getting too old for this ****" N'Dou, IMO.

..and yes, Berto has to deal with Bailey next or get stripped. Bailey's been waiting longer than baldy here:

How will your picks hold up when they are open to challenge by anyone?
The Peoples Champion is our uncrowned gladiator, it is open for anyone, no matter how many fights you have, no matter what your record looks like, whether you come to the thread a few times a day or once a month, or you have never even posted in this thread before. Be the first to challenge the Champs picks and the title is up for grabs. :good

Well Prescott was outboxed against Vazquez (Which in it self is no big deal concidering how well Vazquez is doing against punchers). He was outboxed against Mitchell who's a decent boxer with good power. IMO he'll be outclassed by the more ackward McCloskey. IMO Prescott's only REAL weapon is his long looping right that really bangs.

But in reality I think McCloskey should win a comfortable decision against Prescott. As long as he can keep his cool, he should be able to see Prescott's punches comming from a mile away.

    McCloskey 118-110
