Okay, was he up to scratch for the new season? Personally I thought Oliver was awful, after 5rds saying Hall was going to win when clearly McDonnell was taking over.
Do we have to have to have another Jim Watt thread every week? Can't we just focus on the action, I'm sure we are all capable of forming our own opinion about a fight anyway
You know what, yes we do. Otherwise we get one everytime he makes a mistake which is few and far between. This way people can be made aware, actually most weeks Watt is great.
To be fair I think it's about time one of these Jim Watt threads got stickied I didn't have any problems with his commentary this weekend to be fair. He was a little too negative during the Jeffries fight but then again, it was an awful fight and he was only being honest. And I thought he called McDonnell/Hall pretty well.
If you dont like watt commentating turn the sound down he no bad at predicting the winner its his judging it not 100% but it is only fun to keep everyone who think they can score a bout . and with regards hall he was awful after round four looked very slow and just was schooled on boxing never cut the ring off just kept following McDonnell ever where and was to easy to hit
To be fair i thought Jim was bang on,i really think Hall could have won the fight had he worked harder,not enough 3,4 and 5 punch combos.good fight all the same.
