    muhammad ali was also much hated, at least he fought bravely, altough he often run away haha...but ali was def more entertaining than mayweather, boxing wise and also outside the ring.

    mayweather may have more haters than fans. but damn those fans seem to be willing to take a bullet for him. the joyboy group probably led by bladegunner worship everything about floyd. that's crazy :nut

    My question is...why is it so wrong to be a fan of a villain? I can find entertainment value in The Joker or Darth Vader but that doesn't mean I don't know the difference between right and wrong. I find amusement in the fact that Mayweather pisses a lot of people off or gets those who are disgusted with his antics to continuously talk about him. In some ways it's ingenious. Who else do you know possesses that talent? Mayorga? Nope, not a PPV star. Hopkins? Hall of Famer but doesn't get nearly as much attention as Floyd. Toney? Talks a lot but nobody gives a **** about him anymore. I really can't think of anyone who gives Floyd competition. All the other PPV stars are good guys and it's easy to sell tickets when you're the do-gooder and are action fighters like Pac and Cotto.

    I will always be a fan of a good guy. But just because someone doesn't do the right thing in life or make ideal decisions doesn't mean he can't be entertaining. Would I want Floyd to be the president of our country? Hell ****ing NO. Is he good for boxing? Yes, I believe he is. How the hell can you NOT have a bad boy in a sport that involves punching someone in the face?

    I never that you cant be a fan of someone you dont like. but than again you have too seperat two things and that is

    the person

    &

    his art

    for example a lot of people are fans of picasso, because his art was great, they also would have been fans of him, would he be a bad or villan person. but at the same time, they would have said:" I love what he is producing, btu as a person he is ****ed up!"
