Mayweather vs Pacquiao,let's be honest here

I hate it when people argue using outdated facts. The latest I heard, Pacquiao has already agreed to take the olympic-style drug testing without any cut-off.. just as what Mayweather wanted. Whether this is true or not, we will find out after Floyd and Manny win their respective fights and the 3rd negotiation begins.

In the meantime, fans of both fighters should stop throwing baseless accusations. Personally I find nothing wrong with Mayweather's demand for more stringent test, regardless if he demanded for it only lately. However, I also do not believe that Pacquiao uses PED. Man.. :thumbsup If you've only seen how hard this man trains (as I witnessed a few times), you'd be amazed at the dedication and hardwork he pours in to perfect his craft!

Come on, guys.. regardless of how they want their images projected to the people, Pacquiao and Mayweather are both great fighters and good for boxing. Let's continue to support them and urge them that for our sake, they finally make the fight we all want to see!

Mayweather is such a hard nut to crack, but should they fight, my bet is still on Pac though! :yep

 

As in, four weight classes over several years and then BOOM! another four weight classes in less than two years.

Dumbass, Floyd was 16 years old when he weighed 106 lbs. He was 130 by the time he was, what 20? Took him 9 years to gradually move up to 147 from that point. He still weighs only two pounds off the fighting limit a whole 30 days before the fight. Dumbasses I tell you...

 

This argues FOR PED use.

It amazes me when people think the above underlined has no correlation with PED use. Barry Bonds, Marion Jones, Lance Armstrong; they all trained like absolute beasts of human beings, just like Pacquiao does.

 

To understand what's happening now and predict what's going to happen in the future, one just need to look at the past.

I dont think Pacquiao or Floyd of scared of each other but I do think Roach is scared to death of Floyd!!! Right after the Pac-Cotto fight he said that march 13th would be to early because he needs 6-8 months to come up with a game plan for Floyd. so right there and then I knew team pac was gonna duck the fight on March 13th.

You have to think from Roach's point of view though. Floyd is a bigger, faster, better defensive and counter puncher then Marquez who gave hell to Pac twice. but theres nobody left to fight after marquez then Mayweather so the fight will finally happen spring 2012

 

So whats the REAL reason for Pacquiao not agreeing to OSDT in the first place?Because if its just whom is asking for the test why he denied it then thats just plain old dumb.

We all know why Floyd Jr is asking for the testing,but why did Manny turn it down?That question hasn't come close to being answered imo.

Is it simply that Pacquiao dont want to give in to Mayweather Jr's OSDT demand?Lame.

Is it the getting blood drawn to close to fight night?The fact that Manny feels he lost to Morales the first time because he was tested to close to the fight?Oh wait,,was it his socks?or the fact that he didnt have his reyes gloves?or the cut on is eye?

Is it that Pacquiao feels his image as a fighter was damaged after Sr's allegations of Manny using peds?If this is the case,then taking the test and fighting(possibly beating Mayweather Jr)the fight would be the way to clear your name.no?

We heard alot of things from the pacquiao camp.But which one is it?

Just like when the first negotiations were taking place Manny demanded a few things that would affect both fighters,ring size/gloves ect.Pac also demanded Floyd be penalized $$$$$$$$ for every pound he came in over the agreed limit,affecting only Floyd.
Floyd demanded a test.A test that both fighters would be taking.

We now hear that Manny is willing to take OSDT all the way up to the day of the fight for Mayweather VS Pacquiao.After all the BS and lawsuits from Pacquiao's camp,,why the change of heart now?

Ive read that pacs a bit of a hypochondriac the week before a fight. To the point that it annoys his 2 trainers. That is why Pac dont want the bloodtest the week of the fight. If the man thinks it will effect (even mentaly) him then he has every reason to ask for a cutoff. there is nothing wrong with blood after the fight.. But this bloodtesting is FUKING old news now, the bloodtest isnt the issue anymore.

There was no 2nd negotiations and there hasnt been since FMJ lost the Urge, that holiday led many to believe that FMJ just like his dad is Scared for his life.

Good post. But I am starting to suspect Manny is on something. He refused to take the test with Floyd, but feels the need to 'clear his name' in court? Spending $ on lawyers? If I was Arum I would demand Pac take the test if he's clean because there's too much money on the table. Manny should have been using OSDT against Mosely and Marquez, with a 7 day cut off to make a strong statement to Public and to the Mayweathers

 

Said it before, and I will say it again: Bob Arum knows what a danger Mayweather is first hand as he used to promote him. Arum is simply going through as many options as possible to maximize his profits with Pacquiao before finally cashing him out in a fight with Mayweather.

Keep Manny winning and earning big money, when you feel it is about the end of the line, toss him in with Mayweather for a final huge payday. At that point it doesn't matter whether he wins or loses, Bob Arum has made a ton of money off of Manny. It's a business folks.
