fair one matey......i just hope its a good fight....... i think ortiz has the aggression to get at mayweather up close but even though 10 years is a big gap in the ring floyd would still imo pick ortiz off even if he was 44 and not 34........ ortiz is far from a great fighter imo, and well floyd 34 or not is still leagues ahead of ortiz.......floyd will catch ortiz a lot more easier than people think imho. :bbb
this really is a mismatch. anybody giving ortiz a chance.. watch ortiz vs peterson. actually, you can watch ortiz vs berto. the guy has no chance vs floyd. none
i have to say ive really warmed to Ortiz he's a humble and intelligent young man. saying that, and this is a weird thing to say, i want to see Mayweather vs Pacquaio so badly, that id rather Mayweather wins this fight, because the Pacquaio fight is too big not to happen if there was no pacquaio, then i would be more than happy to see Ortiz knock that smug ****er out, as smug as mayweather may be though, there's no denying his talent, and above all else, his work rate, i heard him say he's a multi-millionaire, yet he trains like he hasnt a dime. A truer word was never spoken, the chap works beyond the realms of any other fight ever, and i truly mean that
De La Hoya's a two faced ***** really isn't he ? lol, I remember the Mayweather/Hatton 24/7 when Oscar was praising Hatton to the heavens "he has a great chance, the best chance anyone has ever had" then he says to Ortiz "Hatton? come on! that was an easy fight for him, everybody knew that" haha
oscar is a fair weather man.....he says what he says when he needs to imo..... even tho he is promoting mayweather in this fight you know he wants floyd to get battered.... wont happen though, and he knows it.
I'm really starting to warm to Ortiz. I dont mind the constant referal to his childhood tbh. He's done very well to get to where he is and should be proud of himself for doing so. Also I kinda feel its them (HBO) pushing the subject not him. That said, I think Floyd is superb and I want him to win. I dont see how people buy into his attitude all the time. Sure he's a bit ignorant but half of that other stuff is purely for the cameras IMO. He seems to be very immature and to have pretty low self esteem at times (especially infront of the cameras) but despite that I find him ok. One things for sure though, 24/7 is MADE for Floyd :deal
I'm really enjoying it too. I loved episode one despite some people on here slagging it off! Floyd fan and proud
Good man magicman, this ones been great fun if you ask me, The Mayweathers have done so much 24/7 now that I genuinely feel like I know them, watching Floyd Jnrs inner battle with himself as he tries to be a money mad gangsta, whilst deep down you can see that hes just too bloody nice to be what he tries to live up to in front of his rapper friends... I find it fascinating, but the man in your avatar always steals the show if you ask me, Uncle Roger just oozes charisma, & I could happily watch an uncle Roger spin-off show! Throw in that swine of a father Floyd snr & I find the boxing takes a back seat almost, Im just happy to watch family Floyd do their thing:deal Add to that Ortiz sad sad story, coupled with his trainers family troubles, & I think this is 24/7 gold. People are writing off this young boy too easily, but I see a bit of the young Roberto Duran in him, I seriously think Floyd could be in trouble here...
I could literaly watch Roger 24/7 (no pun). "I wouldn't know Victor Ortiz from a bag of white rice" Why would I give a **** about Victor Ortiz? :happy:bowdown
if ortiz leaves floyd with permanent brain injuries i honestly wouldnt give a ****, he deserves this in fairness
