Assuming there is no upset in any of the major fights already scheduled for the year and all get a convincing / non-controversial win, how would you rank these fighters based on their two wins for the year.

    Donaire - Montiel KO, Narvaez
    Hopkins - Pascal UD, Dawson
Rios - Acosta KO, Antillon KO
    Ward - Abraham UD, Froch
    Pacquiao - Mosley UD, Marquez
    V. Klitschko - Solis KO, Adamek

Easily Hopkins in my view. It's nost just the fighters he's beaten, it's the situation he was in prior to beating them, being the underdog in both and doing something that has never been done in the history of the sport.

Also, can anyone tell me why Donaire gets so much love? He's a good boxer, sure - but he's not elite, no where near in my view.

hopkins foty then, the historical achievement of becoming the oldest champ, lineal champion at lightheavy by beating pascal in his hometown along with beating chad dawson who is a bad match up for him and one of the top guys i the division is better than donaire beating montiel, narvaez imo.

Donaire has the best and most convincing win so far this year, that's why he's getting the love. The KO win over Montiel is a better win than Hopkin's UD win over Pascal.

Although not the likely scenario, I'd say if you put Ward up there for discussion you can't leave out Froch.

I'd say Glen Johnson MD | Ward would look as good if not better than Arthur Abraham UD | Froch.

I guess because I simply do not rate anyone below 140 as being relevant in boxing, I don't really care for Montiel or Donaire.

If Ortiz were to beat Mayweather along with the Berto UD - Ortiz
If Froch were to beat Ward along with the johnson win - Froch

These two fighters beat everyones except maybe Hopkins

    Right now:

    1. Donaire
    2. Salido
    3. Hopkins
    4. Rios

Should no upsets occur, I expect Salido to slide from 2 to 4. Depending on how Hopkins looks or if Rios takes a third big fight in December, their order would change. Even still, Montiel will still be the best win of the year and Narvaez is very, very good.

Even though there is an easy way that the top two contenders will emerge despite not being currently considered:
-Ortiz should he defeat Mayweather by any fashion other than DQ
-Narvaez should he defeat Donaire would be 4-0 on the year, with wins over Donaire and Seda

It's like midget wrestling, it's fine for a bit of a laugh but ultimately - when a boxer who only had six professional fights like myself can beat up a professional world champion, I'm not that interested in the weight class.

Someone at 122 would not beat me in a boxing fight, therefore they're irrelevant.
