Really does give an insight into how badly Ali messed up George Foreman. In what was supposed to be a glorious comeback exhibition for george turned into a total farce which made him look so ridiculous. **** ali had a way of getting under your skin [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3qUViYOhMQ[/ame]
Cheers for posting, this is ****ing hilarious hard to believe this is the same George we see nowadays.
:rofl he must think its easter, easterbunny, also look at foremans jump at 7.07 he was very pissed off at Ali there, what a difference compared to the nice smiling George we saw later on.
I dont, Ali had him beat mentally if they ever fought again, also he was winning the fight in zaire not just by ropeadoping george, but also with faster hands, right hands constantly landing and having the right style. In a rematch george would not be better than in zaire because of how he was mentally and still would gass out.
What people forget is, Ali outboxed Foreman all night, regardless of the rope-a-dope. He had Foreman's number, same as Foreman had Frazier's.
Wow, you think Ali was winning that fight? I think that is the fight was all George until the 7th. I mean Ali had his moments, but George was dominating him in effective agression, punches landed, and just about every notable stat. Of course he was running on fumes from the 5th on, but had it been stopped cause of a HB or for any reason gone to the cards, I woulda gave the fight to Big George.
Yeah I had Ali up 4-3 after 7 rounds, he landed cleaner punches troughout the fight, I wont argue with george up slightly or even on the cards but it isnt the whipeout for foreman that seems to be the myth for some people. The Judges had Ali up as well.
