Mayweather comes across as an annoying, immature individual. I'm not really all that bothered by that. To the best of my knowledge, he's done nothing worse in terms of criminal/scumbag behavior than ATGs like Ray Robinson and Carlos Monzon, or recent fan favorites like Arturo Gatti and Diego Corrales. I'm more bothered by the fact that since 2007, when he became a box office draw and could command the big fights he wants, this is his THIRD fight, and the second straight "silver medal" he's given us at WW. Now just make the ****ing Pacquiao fight next and I'll be happy.
The fact that so many take personal comfort and even a structural blueprint regarding behaviour from the actions/antics of that scumbag is an unfortunate sign of a devolving soceity.
It's difficult for many of us to understand how self absorbed and egotistical great athletes are, but more importantly how important it is to their success. Being out of touch, focusing so keenly on your craft (at the cost of family, friends, essentially anything of value outside of monetary value) allows them to miss kids birthdays, anniversary's, graduations, "family time", etc etc. They don't toil over it, they don't ponder it, why...because those things are secondary to their greatness. You hear your entire life "dare to be great", "be the best", the problem is that to actually do that it requires a hardness and ugliness that many of us don't have (even if we possess the talent or ability). Barry Bonds, Micheal Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Alex Rodriguez, Nick Saban, Dan Marino, all known dickheads, some more publicly than others, but all bread with same same general disposition. That doesn't mean everyone that's great is that way, but far more are than aren't. You look at the most successful business people 7 of 10 are going to be complete egotistical selfish **** suckers. They view it as a strength not a weakness, doesn't make it right or wrong, just as an illustration that this isn't a PBF deal...this is pretty commonly understood sociology.
like you said, for me, This content is protected he wants too be. what I mean by that is fight This content is protected on top of that attitude, the charakter that he is, sorry that to much for me. f... him :!:
Good point. Just like RJJ, without that massive ego, he wouldn't have been successful. It's what drove him to be great. Floyd obviously is more of a headcase than RJJ, but as you touched on, focusing on his craft and not focusing on "how nice of guy he is" can do that.
Typical ***** response: yo why you hating?! He undeafeated cuz he the GOAT and got more money than you! you hatin!
According to Floyd fans, you can beat up women, torture 16 year olds, kill puppies, disrecpect your dad, and spit on your face...just as long as your good at boxing, it makes everything else okay.
so and so. manny for instant seem to be a cool dude, yet is one of the best. same for julio cesar chavez or erik morales, they all were behaving normal. I have nothing against somebody for knows what he is capable of doing and therefore seem a bit arrogant to the general audience. at the end, boxing is a violent sport and you should think a lot about yourself and not what other need or may think. but ultimatly this doesnt meen you can be a nice person and not an arrogant twat 99 % of time. even without boxing I think mayweather would be an annoying dude.
