yes he has the chance of outworking him, Broner is getting hyped up to be something he isn't.

No Broner isn't that great but he's still better than Ricky Burns.

    ****ing pathetic.

No doubt Burns Vs Mitchell for some bogus strap :-( Why not fight Broner and Fana and cement yourself as the best in the division?!?

    Bull****

Ricky is the fastest, strongest, superfeatherweight outhere. He has underated power and Broner wont be able to live with our workrate which is why we're moving upto lightweight to fight Prince Lee Isidore

Ricky actually has a good chance of beating broner so I dont see why they would avoid the fight

Not sure how that argument works though. He doesn't have a dig on him because he isn't a world beater.

Broner's really not that special m8. He ha good power, but Ticky showed he can box the ears off a one diminutional hitter when he beat Martinez. Granted Broner is better defensively but Ricky would still outbox him confortably IMO

No you got that wrong. Roman Martinez was the fastest, strongest superfeatherweight out there and because Burns once managed to edge past a jetlagged version of him on a decision, that makes Ricky Burns forever the world number 1 and from now on the world is his oyster. Why should he have to dictate to mandatories or unification fights with other pretend champions? Move up and become a two weight world king. Even Andre Berto is now a 2 time welterweight world champion!

Great that the warriors on here and are lambasting Burns before they even knew the actual facts.

If the Broner fight doesn't happen then it could be for a number of reasons, not because Burns is ducking him.

I said I'd wait. But dont even try to excuse this if he vacates. As said no problem with weight when trying to get 38 year old Fana into the ring

There's no way they'd get Isidore to come over here. He never leaves Trinidad. Plus, he'd starch Burns. Everyone knows he's the future of the division...
