McCullough will be terrible as commentator. More time spent pimping himself and his daughter out than talking bout the fights. Handy for primetime though as now they dont have to pay to fly anyone from UK to Vegas.

Berto got it in a vacant title fight when Mayweather retired after Hatton.

I am getting this card though.

I won't be paying for it. But thankfully I do get to see it legally.

The Gomez fight is a disgrace.

I like him, a gritty, tough fighter but he's way out of his depth.

Cotto beat him badly, he's now nearly four years older and against an even bigger opponent. Bad night for him.

Realistically the three main fights are all mismatches, regardless of how you try and spin it.

No, sadly. I was tempted since I think Ortiz’s aggression will make it fun to watch, but my creative career got in the way a bit. Instead, I’m getting to watch HBO’s HD feed from the studio I’m doing work for.

I’m still debating going to Cotto-Margarito II. If I can get decent deals on the flights, I might go.

I agree. I think Mayweather-Ortiz will be fun for about six rounds, but it's not really a competitive fight.

I like Gomez and think he's good to watch, but Alvarez will dwarf him. The only way that fight's fun is if you enjoy a man getting beaten half to death, like when Gomez did the same to Gatti.

“Matthyse is very lucky to have this chance, on paper he doesn’t warrant a title opportunity. There is no one outstanding on his record or any former champions of note to warrant a title opportunity.”
