If he's around 19 then its the fella im on about. I boxed his cousin years ago.

 

He's finished boxing as far as I kno I remember him was really good up to about 15/16 but then left and came back I dont think he's boxed in two years.Could be wrong

 

Ya he was unreal til he was about 15. He definitely won at least one all-ireland but was there or thereabouts every year. You're right he left and came back again. He was definitely boxing in the last year or so (up at about 75kg now) but it seemed to be only in club shows. Didn't enter the under 21's or intermediates or anything.

 

Ya he's aroung 19 and definitely boxed for the glen. Was the cousin you fought paddy mccarthy? He was fairly good too for a while, not as good as lewis though. Then to confuse matters another paddy mccarthy came along and boxed for either brian dillons or mayfield :think

Yeah I saw him about 18 months ago I think I judged a munster championship fight which I think he lost on a countback to Arthur McDonaghin OLOL in Limerick.

When was that fight versus Arthur mcdonagh? about 5 years ago? Is it the arthur mcdonagh who boxed with fermoy? If so, he was brilliant too. He won about 3 all-irelands. They would have always been only a weight or 2 apart but then would have clashed on some occasions in club shows and that.
