Schaefer: Khan vs Peterson likely for december

I also read earlier that Morales would be an option for team Khan.
Its logical of course but it raises the question, why is matthysse being totally ignored?
If he beats morales which is very possible he will be a beltholder and one of the best guys at 140, that fight makes way more sense than Peterson imo, I think lamont is a good boxer but Matthysse has a better chance vs Khan.

I think khan wins a wide UD against peterson but matthysse i am not sure!

He will probably move up after that though:think fight kell brook or a guy like senchenko and then target floyd.
That kind of seems to be the path, besides Bradley isnt fighting anyone soon, I say make maidana vs matthysse if matthysse beats morales.

Honestly Peterson will fare much better than matthyssse when it comes to winning rounds though khan will beat both. The Maidana fight was the best thing that could happen to khan cause it gave him a lot of perspective that he doesn't have to be like PAC to impress fans which he was trying to be against Marcos. Plus mentally Khan has matured that's why I see Lucas as a very easy fight for Khan.

 

If Khan cant get Bradley theres no point in him hanging around at 140, he should ease himself into 147 with a fight against Alexander or Zaveck.

Maybe he should demonstrate that perspective and maturity against an actual dangerous come-forward puncher like Matthysse and not someone over whom he enjoys copious stylistic advantages.

 

Peterson isn't ready, He should fight the Morales-Matthysse winner. Miadana-Khan 2!!!

Khan ppl should forget about Morales cause Morales already made it clear he dont want to fight khan anytime soon. Morales wont face fighters that moves around with amazing speed.

 

Of course I'd rather have Khan fight Lucas then Peterson or Morales but the out come would still be the same. We all know Matthaysse won against Devon albeit a close one but if Lucas wasn't able to stave off Devon's willingness to engage I don't know he can win much rounds against Khan who enjoys a bigger reach and quickness advantage. If khan and Maidana II happens I think it'd be a totally one sided fight with Amir pot-shotting himself to victory.
