So If Adamek's Too Small For Vitali, What Does That Make Byrd?

You're right. Adamek probably walked around close to 200 in between fights at LHW. And the fact is, Adamek always needed to 'diet' to stay at LHW, which is a clear indication that it was not the best class for him to fight.

Here's another fact. Klitschko used weigh 230 pounds and also worked his way up. 230 for a guy that's 6'-8" isn't exactly heavy.

    Go ot bed dickface.

He was in the hospital after the fight because of the strain of water loss on his kidneys. He also weighed in at 197 lbs after a training camp a couple months after the fight (in his next bout with Pineda).

I doubt he was cutting from 220 lbs but he was definitely pushing 200 lbs in his last few fights at 175 lbs. Which was a problem against a quick fighter like Dawson.

So the OP doesn't care how the fight endedn, Byrd "found a way to win" Wow, that's some way of putting it. Like Valuev finding a way to beat McCline....I don't think anyone reasonable would assume Byrd would beat a healthy Vitali.

Besides, Byrd had fought better big men than Adamek.

If you follow the top fighters, and obviously some of these 'esb experts' don't, then you know that Adamek walks around at low 200s. He didn't need to bulk much, as photos indicate.

Get back to us after the fight. This story is likely to change.

I find it funny how small men have beaten much larger men in the ring decade after decade in huge upsets at heavy, usually older heavyweights who've lost a few steps. But it's unthinkable here.

Michael Spinks gradually working his way up in weight and beating ATG Larry Holmes, who was getting older.

    Byrd beat Vitali

    Holyfield over Tyson

    Holyfield over Bowe

Blown up cruiser Jimmy Young over Foreman

It doesn't happen often, but I think people are completely forgetting how history has repeated itself here dozens of times in the past, with an aging or past prime heavyweight being beaten by a far smaller man

This thread is the definition of ******ation. LOL, BYRD CAUSED VITALI TO GET A SHOULDER INJURY! Like what kind of low iq do you have to understand that Vitali's injury was self inflicted and even with the injury Byrd was getting raped?

    Try again, idiot.

By the way this is what uninjured Vitali does to Byrd:

You Vitali fans live in a world of what ifs and could haves.

What happened happened. What you assume would have happened is absolutely irrelevant.

The size difference was marginal in a lot of those fights.

Spinks was the same height as Holmes, was something like 200 pounds v 220.

Holyfield was taller than Tyson, and in the second fight weighed exactly the same as Tyson.

Holyfield lost 2 out 3 against Bowe, and IMO only won the 1 becaue Bowe was super fat and Fan Man.

IMO it's unthinkable here because Vitali is so much bigger than Adamek, and Adamek isn't a spring chicken, and hasn't torn the division apart since moving up. He's had some solid results against some real B Class fighters.

He's had a good win against Arreola, maybe I was a bit harsh, but the other guys really haven't been up to much.

I wish him all the best. He's got some big balls, I'll give him that.
