    Whitaker v Trinidad. Whitaker was 35 coming off a 16 month layoff for two failed drug tests. I was surprised Sweet Pea made it to the final bell. He went toe to toe with Trinidad a lot in that fight and actually managed to hurt Trinidad with some uppercuts in the 7th...even after getting his jaw broke in the 5th or 6th round. One sided fight, but he showed a lot of heart trying to walk Trinidad down.

    de la hoya was far from shot when he faced mayweather. he was just a bit past his prime. shot? hell no

    and mosley's performance against margacheato was legendary

    well said.

    they say that every fighter has one last fight inside of them.

    mosely/marg was the epitome of that.

    i had +675 on mayorga/mosely. he gave everything he had in that fight. couldnt have expected more out of mayorga.

    that being said, i am waiting for the line on morales/matt but it has not been posted yet.

    Hatton-Malignaggi - convinced some that Hatton could out-muscle Pacquiao and had a chance. Actually Hatton was done.

    You genuinely think Hatton getting destroyed by somebody that feasts on that type of style was a result of Hatton being shot?

    No, I never gave hatton a prayer in the Pacquiao fight, but I do think that Hatton was shot at the time, and was when he fought Malignaggi, which was the question.

    This one has been mentioned quite a bit, but how is this a great performance when Lacy himself was shot.
    In fact, Lacy can be labeled as a never was, shot fighter.

    Get serious, Lacy had already been exposed as a fighter that was'nt of high caliber.
