    A class below? Not so sure about that one. Moorer hit harder, but his chin was glass, and IMO really did not like boxing. Adamek to me has pride, heart, and takes a solid shot. Skills on offese are close to even.

    Maybe Moorer would have a better chance to upset Vitlai, but he also has a great chance of going out early.

    I've had a hopeful bet on Adamek@ 4/1 in this. I'm banking on the hints that Vitali's age is starting to catch up on him and Adamek's good movement on the outside potentially getting him the win.

    I would have done Adamek by decision but there's a little doubt in my mind about Vitali's facial features and the possibility of the fight being stopped on a cut from slashing punches by Adamek.

    Vitali has to be favourite but Adamek is a live underdog IMO.

    The very fact that Vitali is still the second best heavyweight out there ,speaks volumes for the lack of depth in the division.

    :lol::lol:

    It's happened many times before...

    I notice he couldn't bear to have me on his ignore list for long. :yep

    Adamek is he best challenger available right now, but he does make Moorer look amazing in comparison.

    vitali must get old fast for adamek to have a chance. theres no way he has the power to ko vitali, and vitali will gain on him at some point and i prey to god that adamek can take the punishment.

    The punishment Adamek takes will be brutal..it may result in a late stoppage. Adamek may be saved just before a knockdown.

    Adamek is a tough guy and has will but is really a 175lber in his frame and power. He could still beat a lot of heavyweights like Michael Spinks but is not a super puncher nor does he have any particular strengths other than having more experience in the championship level than other heavyweights and is better conditioned despite the extra lbs.

    Unless he gets faded overnight, I expect Vitali to dominate. I think Adamek will land more than the usual opponent because of his experience and will but I see Vitali wearing him down to retreat and eventually have the RSC....Thomas will be looking to up the pace early to make Vitali retire but that tactic may cause him to be hit more often and speed up the final outcome.....Vitali wins dominantly

    Fight might be more competitive than many think. Vitaly is 40 years old. Heavyweights don't get faster or better at 40. Adamek, unlike the vast majority of heavyweights, comes to every fight in top shape, as he proved against Arreola. This guy has speed, footwork, and can keep a good pace. Most of the greatest heavyweights throughout history started out smaller. His size does not bother me in the least. What he loses in size he gains in quickness, agility, and activity level. I hope he indeed comes in at a light weight so as to accentuate his strengths. I think it would be a mistake to try to go more than 217. Vitaly has been feasting on big lumbering slob blobs with zero footwork and who get tired after the first 3 rounds. That will not be Adamek.

    Yeah he doesn't punch for **** anymore. Which makes it pretty amazing that he's still dominating everyone he fights by sheer workrate, size and skill.

    I think Adamek has a chance. He could pull a Michael Spinks here.

    Vitali won't let it go to the cards in Poland unless Adamek loses his mind with fear and runs away the whole time. He's not gonna do that either! Too proud! Vitali by knockout! :bbb

    Spinks, as in the guy who schooled Tyson for 91 seconds?
