spoke a mate of mine last night from London who was at the TKO gym watching the above sparring session. according to him Jimmy Tibbs stopped the sparring after Burns was handing Mitchell his arse on a platter.
Would be interesting if Ricky does actually move up to lightweight and fight Mitchell next. Good fight and would sell well in Scotland imo
Sparring is very different to an actual fight. Could Burns KO Mitchell? Mitchell can definitely KO Burns. Burns workrate is his best asset - I think Mitchell could handle it. Either way the gulf in class between SFW and LW is immense - no way Burns becomes a legit top 3 LW anytime soon (Rios/Kats/JMM etc. would all have to have moved up/retire).
I very much doubt Mitchell could KO Burns personally. There doesn't seem to be much between them, Burns is probably taller and Mitchell broader.
I rated Mitchell but after spending two days in the gym with him the guy is world class an Not even in peak shape I like Ricky get on well with him but Mitchell for me
Sparring is very diffrent to a fight,but what i will say is Burns will be a massive LW when he goes up,he will retain his speed and his power will improve. IMO he would clearly become No1 in the UK and a fight with Kevin would be great but Ricky would be a clear favourate in my eyes. I beleive Kevin has the potential to be world class but Ricky already is!BIG DIFFRENCE! PS Frankie good luck with your move to London

I hope that means Frankie is joining Tibbs! That would be a perfect fit. As for Mitchell - Burns, Mitchell would either spark him or won a wide UD, he is a level above IMO
