    SRL vs Marvin Hagler took just over 3 years to get made. There are a slew of other "super fights" that have taken years to establish as well.

    This is nothing new, and if you look at boxing history it should be expected. Sad but true. Both sides on this issue have held up the fight from happening. (Mayweather with his vacations, and Manny refusing to test)

    The fight is going to happen regardless. Too much money involved and boxing is a business more than it is a sport now-a-days.

    The mere fact that Floyd said PAC you're next means Ortiz is the precursor. But it doesn't mean Ortiz ain't legit or just a warmup. All you *****s defending Floyd's statement regarding the "nothing is precursor" **** is just plain ******ed. Floyd backtracked plain and simple. He should have said "PAC you're next...... after I'll retire for two years and take another tuneup then retire then final tuneup"...

    The writer added the Pacquiao would be next part that's why the comma's are there, but what was the question and the context of the answer? Was Mayweather answering if he would fight Pac next or was Mayweather stating that he isn't using Ortiz as preparation for Pac which most people assumed since they are both southpaws.

    That is basically what you guys are arguing and until you find out what the actual question was its hard to know the context of the answer. Why didn't the writer add and quote the direct question?
