Burns vs Mitchell sparring session

Question for Billy,

In an ideal world would you rather Ricky stayed at super-feather, beat Broner, Fana and then moved up? Do you think you he could beat Broner honestly? Because a lot of people on here thin he could so why doesn't VVarren? How does Ricky feel? I feel for you as I think you're taking a bit of flak but you have to toe the party line so your hands are a bit tied in what you can and cant say, but really is it going to be worth the backlash of moving up now? Is there any way you can change Fwanks mind?

 

Oh for **** sake, if Ricky was as good as you make him out to be why he is running from Broner?

It seems that Fwank and Billy have no ability when it comes to analysing a fighter abilities, as Broner is absolute wank and little threat....unless they don't rate Ricky of course ;-)

 

I've said it countless times m8, Ricky would box the ears of Broner whom i dont rate at all. Even stateside i'd expect ricky to coe away with a comfortbale decision. Im not even sure the lad has a punchers chance against him

Burns goes onto mediocrity a division above, leaving a division he had a genuine chance to make his mark in. Bar Mitchell, what can he do at the weight??!!

 

I think John Murray beats him tbh. Crolla would be a half decent fight, but he is really a SFW anyway. He wont mix it up with the big boys at the weight (JMM Rios Kats Acsota The Ghost etc).

Why he is stepping up in beyond me. He has a strap, a winnable mando, and a chance to fight stateside. He is gonna trade it in for a shot at Mitchell in the east end :huh

:deal this sums up my thoughts, i dont see what they're hoping for in moving up? they have a genuine chance to have a ruler in the SFW division in Burns, admittedly im not too clued-up on the division at all atm, but until Gamboa steps up, how many names are there that would be clear favourites over Ricky?

In an ideal world i'd love him to fight Broner and Fana but i need Ricky 100% to do the job on those guys coz he would beat both beleive me.
Ricky and i have talked about this and will make a decision in a day or two.fighters staying at a weight to long is real bad for there health and that aint gonna happen with Ricky!

 

John's already pulled out a fight with Ricky before,TBH Ricky would outclass John and they now it!
