John was a little in his comfort zone at Featherweight thats why i suggested going down,unbeknown to me 2 days before the 1st Smith fight John weighed 8st 11 1/2 lbs crazy.But weve decided to stay at Feather.

Burns probably has a much better chance of beating Broner/Fana at say 80% at SFW than Rios/Kats/Acosta/JMM and Mitchell (who hasn't proven to be world class too) at LW.

 

Billy being a big fan of Rickys i`m damn disappointed if this move goes forward at least beat Broner and then move up. If Ricky`s gonna move up you got to make a good statement before hand. Broner is mandatory and the toughest one to date, moving up in weight and not fighting him will look ridiculous to the majority whatever the reason, and Rickys stock and credibility will be shot, please take note Billy and have a good chat about this with Ricky.

 

The Broner fight should only happen if Ricky is 100% confident at the weight. It's a winnable fight and the money will be good, i dont think Ricky would move up to avoid Broner. Maybe Frank has a little domestic double your money offer on the cards who knows.

Burns style is effortles. Mitchells has been developed. In sparring, if Mitchell isn't sharp then I can see him looking shite. I doubt he was handing him his arse, but just catching him with short counters.
