No because everything else has been worked out already. Even if they wanted to start from scratch they can always re modify the contract. They can write a contract out right now stating 147 WW fight, 50/50 purse split, 8ounce gloves, no cut off USADA testing. Then Mayweather wouldn't be able to say anything about taking the test as all they would need to negotiate would be location and date.

 

Because he will still lie and stand behind his lies. Nothing new. Floyd: "I want to fight the Williams Martinez winner" What happened?

 

That's the point of having the public contract, even if Mayweather were to lie as you claim he would. Manny will always have that public contract to fall back on.

He also wished Mosley good luck with the rest of his career after he turned down his challenge and yet ended up fighting him months later. **** happens to alter your plans. He can still fight Martinez in the future.

 

What exactly do you expect Manny to do to "back up these statements"? Aside from saying them already, whgat more? Hopd a press conference just to say yes about some tests on a fight most are tired of talking about?

And why don't you think Floyd should back up his statements as well? Seems his word is good enough?

 

Sort of like having a video of you out there saying you'll do whatever test are needed to make the fight? A public video floyd can always use if manny decided he doesn't want the tests now.

I just went over your lest 10 posts. Nothing you posted really suggests what Pac needs to do to back up a statement he already said. There's an interview. That's not enough?

I don't give a **** about Mayweather's statements. I just find it odd you need back up from somwething pack said tha MOST have seen or read. But floyd says whatver he wants and it's gospel.

 

Because Manny can draw up the contract agreeing to the test and then Floyd will turn around and state "There was never a contract" while all his fans continue to believe him. He may even turn it down last minute like the DLH rematch and retire. Remember he wanted to fight Winky Wright also? Floyd is full of lies. Wheres my Floyd vs Martinez/Williams winner bout like he promised?

 

Whenever Mayweather gets cornered about facing Pac, then this old saying is so apt:yep

I was showing an example on how they could trap Mayweather if he wasn't being truthful, but of course people take it as me attacking Manny.

All I was saying was that its Mayweather's word vs Pac's word. Pac could put the nail in the coffin by having a contract drawn up. The media would eat it up and Mayweather wouldn't be able to say that Pac needs to take the test or they would just keep bringing up the contract ready to be signed.

Both guys have fights lined up. Drawing up a contract when they would need to go through each guys demands and such, would be pointless now. It would be posturing, nothing more.

 

He wouldn't be able to say there was not contract if the media was given visuals of the contract. That is the point of making the contract public so he wouldn't be able to deny anything.

Mayweather and Wright not coming to an agreement doesn't mean its Mayweather's fault. Wright went on to fight Trinidad who was a bigger star then Mayweather for more money without having to cut the weight. Mayweather was probably his backup plan if that fight didn't fall through.

He didn't promise to fight Martinez/Williams winner he said he would like to fight the winner and he still could. Just because he hasn't fought Martinez yet doesn't mean he never has wanted to or that he doesn't plan to in the future. But if he has better money making options then Martinez then he probably doesn't fight the guy.
