He's an ATG 126lber taking on middleweights that make big cuts (not against JMM, but mainly over the last year or so anyways) I'd be happy for him to take on say, Bradley, who is pretty much the same size as him. Rios, even if he was massive, is just a dull stylistic matchup for Pac. Why fight a lesser version of Margarito?! If Arum makes any big fight above 147, it'll be JCC Jr for a shot at a 160lb 'title' :deal Pac would stop him. Look for Jr to stop training with Roach and head back to Mexico in the next year or so :yep
Outstanding Avatar Vano . Wilde was the business , talking of business have you ever read "Fighting was my Business" by Jimmy Wilde ?
:good Greatest British Boxer of all time, and regardless of what Flea says, THE GREATEST FLYWEIGHT OF ALL TIME AND THE HARDEST PUNCHER P4P EVER :happy:happy:happy But i cant seem to get a copy of his book anywhere!! It's really pissing me off! I need to get it asap, along with the books on Langford and Greb
The thing is Flea, there isnt anyone left for him. Mayweather isnt interested, Bradley is running from Khan and doesnt really deserve a shot at Pac IMO. So who else after he beats Marquez? The only think i can logically see is for him to love up full time to 154. A Lara fight could be interesting.
I know, logic and evidence really lets me down ;-) Get the Langford one first. Excellent. There is a better Greb book on the way....although the one already out is definitely worth a read, don't get me wrong (MIND BLOWING!) A Lara fight would be totally pointless and irrelevant more like. One good performance does not a good fighter make. Personally, I'd like for him to retire after the JMM rubber match :good
The only problem is whenever they crop up on Amazon they are like 25 quid each. If i get all 3 its almost a ton. on 3 books :admin Personally i'd hate for him to retire, he is way to talented, and boxing would be worse off without him. I love watching him fight, it's a real treat.
He's had a full career though. No need for him to go on, or they'll just be looking out for fights that he will definitely lose. Stick at 147 or retire IMO. My favourite one of the lot is 'In The Ring With Bob Fitzsimmons' by Adam Pollock. Seriously, if you're talking about P4P power, Fitz>>>Wilde. Seriously
