Mir has vastly improved over the years. In fact, he's one of the few "vets" that even seem to openly care about getting better in the areas he's weak at. Nog has to win this fight standing because Mir is an awesome grappler who doesn't care about having to work off his back. He's improved his striking and has serious KO power when he connects.

I can. He's old. Don't read anything into his victory over Snob. Snob is a C class fighter at best. All his victory proved is the massive gulf in class between legends like Nog and these TUF 'prospects'. As much as id love to see Nog KO Mir into 'bolivion' he's shot to ****.

So a rematch of a fighter in his prime against a past prime fighter, years later? Makes sense

Nogueira is way past it... but you can never rule out greatness & Nog is greatness.

One other thing... at his best big Nog was the best BJJ fighter to ever fight in MMA at a proven elite level, Im not talking pure jiujitsu as in BJJ tournaments, Im talking effectiveness in an MMA fight, even Mir`s BJJ didn`t compare.

My point to this post is to big up big Nog because he deserves the praise, nothing more, nothing less ;)
