The Louis v Schmeling rivallry meant the most to me thinking about it. With Schmeling being one of the first to study tapes to fathom his opponent. They way he looked out for the low arm of Louis. Then with all the Nazi stuff going on and Schmeling being seen as 'the white hope'. He won as we all know but in the rematch the stakes were higher. Schmeling would be resented to losing to a 'black' and would embarrass 'Nazi Germany'. The fight is one of my favorites of the HW division. Bomber learned from his mistakes is his fights afterwards and looked to redeem himself against Schmeling. Louis blitzed Schmeling in 1 round. A true legend.

I just wanted people to at least pretend that they were interested. I will later though, it's just that, like anything Mijares-related, it'll be long-winded and somewhat tedious, something I'm not motivated to do yet.

That's what i thought, i never clocked it and never really seen him on here or noticed then saw him going into one. I've only ever had one debate with Gaz on here and that was over Matt Hatton :rofl.
