According to Fury he stated on his facebook account today he will be fighting Wladamir if he gets through his next fight i think this is pie in the sky talk but then again he could be after a big payday :verysad

Big mistake by fury as it's far too soon, you can't be taking on a klitshko when you fighting people like firtha, fury needs to be more realistic and at best aim for a povetkin or an arreola and even those at this point he would struggle to beat.

FFS i really hoped he wouldn't take this fight. Respect the lad but he knows he's not ready he needs a gradual step up.

Its tough one channel 5 might be pushing it though. I thought a big fight would come at some point but would expect another 2-3 before he was really in a "big" fight

Yep true that, I was hoping for another 18 months before this talk. I wanted him to get 3 quality fights in and then be alright to have a crack.

Channel 5 would be better building him up rather then slaughtering him before he's even built up the profile if they have indeed pushed for this fight.

Yes its a bit of a tightrope though. Is it better lose to Price or Klitschko?

Depends on the loss really, Price still gotta get past McDermott his first legitimate test may i hasten to add. I'd prefer him to mix at his own level because he clearly can get better. Losing to Wlad could well affect him more then losing to Price. Eg. stoppage/dominated etc

I think price would lose to fury i think the dallas win has got people too excited.

Pointless fight for both men at the minute. Sky sports said recently they're not going to be doing any PPV fights for quite a while. There would be no incentive for either man. Why would Fury take this fight now and only slightly make more than he would fighting the likes of Firtha and a few others that standard inside a few months? He will likely get the title shot anyway in about 18 months when he has ironed out a few flaws. Fury is doing well, he may as well keep padding his record against decent opposition and master his craft for another few years. He has plenty of time on his side. Fury wont be in his prime until he is 30 at least, all of the 6ft 5 and over fighters from the past all came into their peak years after 30.
Fury is probably just looking to hype his fight against Firtha.

Dallas isn't even on the level of Firtha. Nothing but an English hype job going nowhere. He was well beaten by Zack Page and in that fight it was clear to see he will never go above British level. I'm not even sure Dallas could take out big Larry at this stage.
