Nathan cleverlys an Ok talent, he has decent dig, he works the body well he can get a bit sloppy now and then, he is a bit flat footed and a mediocre fighter like adrian diaconu would likely beat him if he doesnt clear up his act. Having said that i dont see how tony bellew wins this fight, hes slow fisted he doesnt really excel in any particular area, his chin looks a bit wack (bob alisafe had him hurt and on the canvas) his power is very inflated. if you look at his quality of competition one would think he'd have a better KO ratio, obviously there is always the chance of cleverly dropping his hands and inviting bellew to land a free shot, but i cant for the life of me see bellew winning this, i know he has his little groupie here on the brit forum, and i know you'll all be a bit disappointed but it is what it is.

Its a big step up for Bellew.

From Ovil Mckenzie to a World Light Heavyweight Title Fight in front of a packed out Liverpool arena packed with 10,000 jeering fans.

    A mismatch > ? - well I would not go that far.

But I expect Clev to win by stoppage at any time or scores of around 119-110.

But its a grudge match and well worth seeing.

I think tony might surprise a few people and make this quite close

Clev is a bit overrated and is still probably around European level anyway

i cant see it mate tbh........i give tony a fair chance, clev is a decent fighter, better than the bomber technically, but i still think tonys power may have nathan in hot water.

I think he will last to the 6th. But I'm the same. I can't see any way Bellew can beat Clev.

Ive seen worse fighters go the 12 with Clev and I've seen Bellew almost knocked out and got back up to win. So he wont be out in 4 it will go the distance but on this occasion I think Clev does enough to wrap up a comfortable win, with a few scares on the way.

    Was it though, really?

Ever since Tony came on here and said he was ready to stand in against Clev at the last minute, people have been making out as if this is is some kind of amazing match up. When Tony mouthed off at the press conference, it became some kind of grudge match that simply had to happen.

This fight has been engineered to be a lot more than it really is, which is an easy fight for Clev, purely so he can keep hold of his garbage WBO "World" title without having to fight anybody above domestic level.

Ajisafe didn't hurt Bellew. He was off balance when he went down and bounced straight back up.

Bellew has recovery powers of a god, see Ovill 1. Out cold on the way down and straight back up. Can't see Clev hurting him that badly

jeering? why in gods name would the SCOUSE fans be jeering the SCOUSER bellew? surely the atmosphere will feed bellew if anything, not distract him.

Clev has a much more varied arsenal than Tony, who can be too much of a 'Head Hunter' at times.

He'll last til the 8th, it'll get waved off due to Clev coming on to strong for him imho.

So he was nearly knocked out cold at a lower level - but he got back up = so you see that as a reason to think he will not get knocked out at a much higher level ? :huh

    I kind of agree C-Pole.

I think it might be a stinker.

Bellew didnt want to get hit at all against Mckenzie - so he sure aint gonna trade with Clev.

He will probaly find himself a bit outgunned and then be on the back foot survial mode - it might be a boring 12 rounder - lopsided decsion for Clev.

This fight would not be allowed to happen so early in Clevs World title reign unless his promoter seen it as a safe defence.
