this fight is very important in order to judge Gamboa. I'm not sold on him because for me his best win is probably Salido which is not that impressive

Hopefull we get a nice competitive fight...IMO de Leon in this stage should be a little better then solis.

i saw gamboa recently training for this fight.
PDL doesnt have a clue what's coming, gamboa is looking so fast and strong as ever.Of course cant go reckless against a hitter like de leon.

Ponce doesn't have a great chin I hope improved his defense because if not it's going to be a short night... but I like his puncher's chance...

    I mean offensively, not defensively.

rigonduex and lara are too, its the cuban system.

    You dont think so?

Ponce in an upset! Lol..... Gamboa should get going early but if Ponce can survive and keep Gam in the mindset to "trade".... I think Ponce drops him and continues the trend of upsets this year. It should be all action in this one.

Very dangerous fight. In all likelyness Gamboa is gonna win this big, but there's a significant chance of De Leon landing something big, and from there on it's anyone's fight.

Ponce De Leon's best chance is El Ciclon slipping on a banana peel on the way to the ring

Even though PDL has improved there really isnt much of a chance he wins here. I would love to see PDL land a straight left on Gamboa to see how he reacts. Not many can take a flush left from PDL.

Also this is the year of the Mexican so i guess it woudlnt be too surprising.

I also see Gamboa winning (by ko) but want to see if he's able to take the heat which De Leon brings.
