If mcclokey takes out presscott in brutal fashion what bearing would it have on khan, i' m pretty sure the public opinion among the public would be sort of shifted but the real boxing fans would know the real story

**** all bearing with regards to khan, hopefully it gets rid of the last of the people who still want a Prescott-Khan rematch.

if mccloskey beats him, we will not have seen the last of prescott he'll go back to fighting bums on FNF and it wont be long till he starts shouting khans name from the roof tops again he most likely would follow khan to 147

Khan got his ass whooped against a guy who gets stopped by McCloskey

He may just smash Prezza up, won't mean much to Khan, but McCloskey has world connections, a friendly agreement with Maidana, and he has kept himself in the limelight with his talk. Still also highly ranked.

styles make fights, each night is different, alot to take into consideration. If he smashed him then I'd be impressed.

  8. It will mean nothing. A one round blowout against a weight drained khan proved nothing. Prescott got totally outclasses by Mitchell. I don't hear Prescott calling HIS name.
Following the ko Prescott went on fighting well below the class khan has reached. Tells you all you need to know in respect of khan

big if imo.......i think dudey needs to be wary of them big loopers from prescott early doors, cos thats gonna be his plan......other than that dudey should get the points win.

I doubt very much he will. But it won't affect kahn in any way. He still has 2 world titles, could be 3 by the end of the year. Then he will move up to 147.

Don't think it makes any difference. The Khan who fought Prescott was a different fighter, wrong weight class, inexperienced, and he made a mistake and walked onto a shot. Different fighter today. Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCall sparked out Lennox Lewis but it didn't change people's overall perspective of the period. Even if McCloskey flattened Prescott in a round (and I don't think he will), I don't think it changes his chances of getting a Khan rematch. The odd armchair fan might call for it, but basically Prescott was an early career mistake from Khan, he has too many high-profile options for that to be enough to influence his choice of opponent now.

Is there any way Prescott can win on points? Here me out. He has pretty good power in the first third of a fight so it's not inconceivable Dudey will take it easy, possibly losing the first 3-4. Suddenly he needs to win 7 of the last 8 rounds. Just a thought.

When did McCloskey become The Terminator?

Why in some fights do posters completely change the fighters' tendencies and approach to something different to what they've shown in their careers so far?

    :deal:deal:deal Pure fantasy.

Sometimes you get proven wrong, e.g Froch-Abraham.
