No point in hypothetically looking at it. It's not going to happen.

It's the least interesting stylistic match-up Floyd's been involved in. Another case of people reimagining Ortiz's style into something it's not.

Floyd will only lose this if he's gotten old overnight. His style suggests that's unlikely.

Worst style matchup for Ortiz out there.

Rob, stop hanging off Floyd's nuts. He could have made a fight with Pac many many times. There was no need for the post-Mosley lay-off.

I'll give him credit when he fights the only worthy opponent out there.

People seem to ignore the problems hatton gave floyd for a few rounds, using in and out movement and not allowing him to get and rythm and hatton had no head movement or no jab. Ortiz' drive and power should make this fight entertaining imo for a few rounds until mayweather begins to time hime with straight rights coming in. who knows if mayweathers punching power will make ortiz sit up and take notice? He couldnt stop marquez after hitting him a lot, he only stopped hatton because he started jumping face first in and he should have made mosely corner stop the fight.

DF Taylor, out of interest (pac aside obv) who would you have liked to see Mayweather in with?

    Martinez.

If Floyd CHOOSES to get rid of an opponent and actually puts shot together rather than round sleeping, he'd stop more of his opponents IMO. He's equal, if not superior, to Berto in terms of power IMO, due to his handspeed and accuracy.

If he doesn't get rid of Ortiz it'll be disappointing IMO. Ortiz just isn't very good.

As Flea said, Martinez. Floyd’s fought at 154, so could easily get the catchweight – Martinez said he’d come down to it too. He actually provides stern challenges due to his speed, awkwardness, size and power - but he's not much bigger the Floyd. More than Oscar did at that stage, that’s for sure. WW’s a bit **** right now overall excluding Pac and Floyd.

147 is probably the worst it's ever been. Only Floyd and Pac are genuine quality.

If Sergio can make 154, then that would be ok.
