Yeah, and it's a crock of **** for the most part.

I would also say that Arums stable has genuine Elite-level operators. Frank has none.

The best fighter on the planet fighting well above his natural weightclass after a ATG career can get away with a little more than Ricky Burns. Just sayin'.

Even Manny's weaker recent fights (Clottey) were champions at one point.

Two wrong's don't make a right but it makes ££/$$ and that's all Arum and VVarren care about. Difference between Pac and Burns is numerous world titles and legacy. Burns has beaten one world level fighter. A embarrassing reign as Champion has destroyed the marvelous 36minutes of war he went through to become Champion.

Floyd Mayweather is the best fighter on the planet fighting above his natural weight class.

Arguable considering who he beat. SFW, in my opinion, is a division without world-level talent right now. LW, however, is. And that's likely behind the calculated paper title grab.

    Shameful.

Rob, you cannot make a serious argument that Mayweather is better than Manny. Legacy, performances, quality of opposition... all miles ahead of Floyd.

Plus he's the one that doesn't want to fight Manny, not the other way around.

Floyd doesn't have to fight the best fighters because he'd beat them anyway.

41 have tried, 41 have failed

Poochiao shouldn't be fighter of the decade because he's lost three fights to little dudes

    :deal

I agree to a extent, Martinez wasn't a awful champion he's a kinda B Class level fighter but a still decent win. Your right the division is awful and that's what makes it worse. A year spent beating no-body's.

And a desperate effort to steal a title and then avoid the very solid opposition out there. Acosta would absolutely demolish Burns, Mitchell and Rees.

Did he seem to have moved past it? Appleby was meant to be first up to fight Burns, Cook did eventually, and Foster Jnr would have most likely been second defence if he was still with VVarren.

Plus the world and their dog knows VVarren pulled the plug on Clev v Bellew in May cos he saw how much hype it generated in a few hours so wasn't gonna waste that on an undercard. At the time he presumed delaying it till October would have given him a ready made main event.
