    He would LOVE McCloskey rematch.

He has had a couple years to do the Prescott rematch and has proven no, he would not LOVE to do that rematch.

His plans are set up perfect so that he never has to face Prescott again.

If Prescott beats McCloskey it's basically guaranteed for December I reckon.

Except that Shaefer and Khan have both come out and said he will fight his mandatory Lamont Peterson in December.

They say a lot of things, first it was Morales but that fell through. Also Peterson was offered to fight Khan before McCloskey and turned it down, so I'm not sure he'll say yes this time either :think

Peterson is a good fight, I hope that happens. Prescott would be an interesting rematch if he were to impress against McCloskey.

    WOW, all good posts:good:good

I think Khan wants Prescott to KO McCloskey just like Breidis did to him.(Don't think for minute that everyone Prescott has fought since Khan has been watching for that sneaky shot).

I beleive McCloskey, like the others who have beaten Breidis will not let Breidis get that punch in w/o earning it. Trouble is for McCloskey, is he doesn't have that Maidaina like power to keep Breidis honest.

    Prescott T/KO 7-10.

As for the rematch, and the mandatory Peterson.....I think both Peterson and Khan would be happier to do that in the spring, soas Peterson could tuneup and build his confidence against a guy like Mike Dallas, and Khan could remove the only doubt people have in him, which is his ability to comeback from a punch from a puncher.

Peterson is a notoriously slow starter, and fight with Dallas, is a fight he could end early if he could find his range a bit earlier, and begin landing the R hand, and it's a fight I believe could be made.

    Two things are for sure.......

One, Khan IMO needs Prescott, and by KO to STFU his haters.
Two, Peterson needs a KO win, to give him the confidence he's gonna need to throw punches vs Khan.

We all just witnessed what happens to Kahns victiims when they are tentative throwing shots, and no one wants to see Lamont go out like the ***** Judah did.

    1) That sneaky shot is called a punch and a young an cocky Kahn got caught, since roach he hasnt been that silly.

    2) Kevin Mitchell beat him without having any power

    3) You say Maidana has power, Kahn beat / took maidanas punches, think Kahn doesnt need prescott to prove this, he needs to continue to move forward, as he has done.

    4) Kahn needs to continue to beat people of good world level quality in confidant ways. He doesnt need to fight a guy who landed one flush good punch, but has lost to two people since.

He's 22, has 1 lone loss on his record, and wants to erase it now, before it follows him for the next 10 yrs. He himself said he wants the fight, and after MCCloskey is KTFO, he'll be more apt to get his wish.

I am fairly certain he wont fight prescott, because he doesnt make sense as a fight, I am 100% certain that he will continue to grab belts, beat world class opposition and if anyone says what about prescott, he will say what have i done, what has he done.

On top of that, even if he does want to fight him, and i think he does, and roach wouldnt mind, but his promoters are NEVER gonna let it happen as its pretty much a lose lose.

if he losses he losses so much, credibility, potentially a belt, momentum, fame, etc

if he wins, he is expected due to the level of fights since that fight.

    1: Bredis Presscot is 28 not 22
2: He has two loses on his record, not one.
3: Other than Ko'ing Khan, Prescott has never shown the slightest bit of knock out power near world class level
4: He is extremely one dimensional, and if he doesnt get you early in the fight he runs out of ideas.

So all in all, I dont see how he will ko Mccloskey.

yeah, he would love a prescott rematch. but amir has his sights set on old eric morales (has had for a while now). why fight prescott when he can beat up an old, badly faded legend, who's more well known and brings more money to the table.

He's effectively got a verbal contract from FLOYD MAYWEATHER (who promised today he'd give Khan a date next if Khan first gets by his promotional stable's stud, Jessie Vargas) and he's looking in his rearview mirror at these clowns?

A McCloskey rematch just doesn't make much sense because Khan was winning fairly convincingly while it lasted, and it made for pretty awful viewing and likely won't sell as well next time out.

A Prescott rematch makes even less sense despite the chance to avenge a loss. If Khan is a level or two above McCloskey right now, he's TWELVE levels above Prescott (which McCloskey should prove in about 22 hours' time, when he demonstrates that he is about ten levels above Prescott himself...)

I think he was posting about Khan, not Prescott. :think

    Khan has the one loss...although he isn't 22 either (he's 24).
