Yeah they did, look up Rickard for an example. Very powerful, promoter of Dempsey etc.

Man that was sick what happened to the African dude. As if living in a wartorn, corrupt, anti black country aint enough the guy has to come to England and get shafted by a load of blokes in suites. Stinks worse than a fish factory, i hope all concerned get their karma. Peace x

Everyone knew boxing was corrupt then. I was thinking more of British boxing in the post-war era.

I will certainly be joining this crusade.

What really made me sick, was in the 12th round, Cox lands a blatant low blow, he gets deducted a point, then his first three punches when the action resumes are all low blows. I mean come on, at what point is that dozy ******* ref gonna say enough is enough.

The writing was on the wall, Cox was supposed to win that fight. Sai could've KO'd him and would have been lucky to get a draw.

I recorded the fight, I'm rewatching it in the morning and sending a very detailed analysis to "whom it may concern".

A useless exercise I know, but unless we the fans speak up these miscarriages of justice will forever go unpunished.

What's the point in any foreign fighters coming over here to fight when basically the African could have won 15 of 12 rounds in there tonight and he still never getting a decision. It's an absolute joke and if I notice Richie Davies refereeing again regardless of who is is il just turn it off.

You can send as many emails/letters as you like. Do you really think that it will have any effect with these people? If we want the sport cleaned up then we will have to take some measures which will actually affect them.

When you email also state that until these officials are sanctioned you will not buy any fight tickets or PPV's as they are bringing the sport into disrepute. If it hits them in the pocket then maybe they will listen. If there is no interest in attending matches with these judges/referees who seem to get it wrong in the eyes of many of the sports fans, there will be no audience to watch their product. If there is no audience, there is no sport. I would rather not have to be embarrassed by these decisions and would prefer to have a UK (or any) boxer lose by fair means ,than win by obvious cheating.

    Rant over. :nut ;)
