guy from another forum says he's watched Chavez Taylor I several times in slow motion just to get to appreciate all the brutal inside work Chavez does in that fight. I've never done but it seems interesting. anyone else ever done the same?
I don't think I've ever watched a distance fight, in its entirety, in slow motion. That'd be a bit much for me. But, I've watched large chunks that way. It can be very enlightening. The way I do it is through the free VLC player, on the computer, which allows you to adjust to the exact speed you want. Armstrong/Ambers in slow motion is quite interesting when played that way.
yeah I think most people do this. especially useful when you're watching a fast-paced technical fight. lot of the exchanges go by in a flash.
..i have a lot of fights on film so it's easy to watch them in slow motion. to me the best are the ones of joe louis. i think it's the real way to study his outstanding talent. if you can find any of his to see in this format do so! truly fantastic.!
I've watched about half a dozen fights in slow motion Pac vs Marquez II I've watched in slow motion several times. Elite boxing in slow motion is just about the most beautiful thing in the world.
i watched round one of Hagler Hearns in slow motion, but a whole fight and even 3 rounds would be a long fight to watch.
You can't realy disect exactly what is going on in pre 1920 fight films, without watching them in slow motion.
I've slowed down a lot of old films that were running too fast. Nowadays I can slow them down to normal speed though.
