Don Jose recommends that Martinez and Rubio fight and the winner fight Chavez Jr.

Why should the middleweight champion of the world fight an eliminator to face a guy who's only beaten one top fighter? Shouldn't it be Chavez and Rubio fight and the winner face Martinez?

It's the golden rule .... he who brings the gold makes the rules. Jr. will sell out the venue if the fight is in LA, bring some TV ratings, possibly even push it to PPV.

I'm not a fan of the kid, but his promotional team knows he's a bigger draw than either Rubio or Martinez and is leveraging that.

Hopefully the fight happens and Martinez starches his ass.

Apparently depends on the promoters relationship with Suliman.

Chavez jr. aint ever going to fight Martinez, get real. He couldn't even beat Zbik fair and square, had to get a favorable decision.

    Jr. wont fight Martinez.

He will however sign to fight him but find a reason to pull as the fight is looming.
