Klit fans make it impossible for people to root for those guys...

    Listen Klit fans...

Only a fool would argue that these guys aren't world class fighters who deserve praise and respect. They take the sport seriously, train hard, and always show up in shape and ready to fight. They have a size advantage, and like any good athlete, take advantage of it as much as possible. I have said before, I like Vitali. Can't really stand Wladdy, but that's beside the point.

They are clearly the best fighters of this era, and have dominated for an amazingly long time.

One of the main reasons why so many people "hate" on the Klits is because their fans say some of the most ******ed **** in order to argue that they are the best ever. It went from comparing George Foreman to some guy (I forget his name) and now obviously Herbie Hide would whip Joe Frazier's ass with no problem.

I know there are others out there who hate them for other reasons, but by and large his fans are responsible for a lot of the hate they get. I know it may seem pretty silly to let a boxer's fans affect how you feel about them, but that's human nature. It happens.

I really consider each Klitschko individually. They are not 1 fighter. They are actually very different. I think that on a boxing forum people should be able to distinguish that,

    I agree.

As I have said before, I enjoy watching Vitali, because his disposition is a lot different from his brother. I like his style a lot more. But they both have a lot in common, mainly their work ethic.

I see a lot of people on both sides of the argument who confuse the two, or just lump them together as one fighter.

You can chicken and egg it but the pattern goes something like this with all the top guys:

Detractor: I don't think he would've beaten so and so.
Fan: I think he would have a good shot.

    Next month:

Fan: He's the best out there, right now.
    Detractor: No, but he's okay.

    3 months later:

Detractor: He's the best out there, but that's because everyone else is ****.
Fan: **** you, *****. He'd have destroyed X(star from twenty years ago).

    1 year later:

Detractor: This ***** is the most overrated mother****er I ever saw. He wouldn't be top fifty in X's era! Not even top 100!

Fan: That's the dumbest **** I ever heard. He'd have beaten everyone that ever existed with ease.

Group A resents group B's enthusiasm or skepticism, then after they argue long enough they both start saying bat**** crazy stuff that makes no sense and you just have to watch it and, you know: :pop

i agree completely with what you said. I hate *******s and argue with them daily, but Kilt fans are worse than them.
don't forget some of them saying Wlad has the best left hook ever. That's complete crap

I never said I hated them. I root for Vitali. I have a lot of respect for both of their work ethic and the way they respect the sport. I leave it at that. You are so used to defending them blindly that you jump to ridiculous conclusions.

I also think Vitali would be a rough fight for any heavyweight in history... except Lennox (obviously) and Ali.

I don't think Wlad holds up nearly as well H2H.

Vitali was a rough fight for Lennox and would always be.

Ali probably not so much so

I love it when they try to argue that this is a good solid era in HW boxing, cracks me up everytime.

Oh and I've never encountered fans so bitter and twisted about they're fighters losing, every excuse under the sun.

So do you think that was the even close to the best Lennox we have seen? I don't think I have ever seen Lennox look so out of shape, lethargic and unmotivated.

I just have to disagree with you on that one.
