    No ***** I don't.

I did moron, like I told dumb**** over there. Pep wrote about it in his book. Sorry but I believe Pep more than I do ESPN.

Theres a lot of myths in boxing that have never been proven false. The Phantom Punch, Jack Johson throwing the Willard fight etc.

And that idiot Boom Boom started it by calling the OP ******. So don't be saying I'm putting people down dick. When the guy your defending started this ****.

Has that been confirmed? It doesn't sound like it on the other threads. Steward said he just found out two days ago that Dawson won't be working with him. If Dawson was already in training camp for three weeks elsewhere and just didn't bother to tell Steward until Wednesday, that's a pretty dickheaded move.

Yeah it is a dickhead move, but it's Dawson's decision and Steward realizes that, Steward can't babysit him. In the interview Steward said he's been waiting for Dawson to report to training camp in Detroit, but didn't show up. Instead Dawson has been training with John Scully in CT for the last month.

Where have you heard that he's been training with Scully? The article mentioned that it's not known who Dawson is training with, and as recently as an August 26th interview, Dawson said that Steward is his trainer and "everything is going great". Was Dawson actually lying and "cheating" on Steward with Scully even after publicly declaring that Steward is still his trainer? If so, why?

To me, that reeks of personal chaos, confusion and lack of focus and discipline. There would have been no reason for Dawson not to simply call Steward up August 15th and say, "I'm going in another direction". And yet, if what you're saying is true, he instead went all cloak and dagger and pretended to be working with Steward to everybody...including Steward himself, when in reality he had no intention of ever working with him. That's bizarre, but sadly, also the best case scenario for him. The worst is that he does not yet have a trainer at all.

I heard this on bscene from the people in CT that Dawson has been working with Scully for at least a month.

    Steward said this.

"I've been waiting on him to show every week," Steward said. "His lawyer called and said want to be closer to home. I don’t know. I respect that he wants to be close to his family, but I’m definitely not in agreement with him."

Ah, ok, so nothing concrete yet about Scully, just some rumors by people on the bscene board? Let's see what Shaw's press release has to say whenever he gets around to releasing it. But ANYBODY who supports Dawson ought to be concerned about where his head is at.

Yeah I do wonder where his head is at, Dawson complains that he wants to be closer to home, but Dawson had no problems training in Vegas (or it seems).

for me, who wins this fight is all up to chad dawson, its a fight against himself as much as it is against hopkins.
if chad gets his head right, believe's in himself, and lets his hands go, he can win this all the way for me.
he needs to fight the way he did against adamek and tarver, rather than the cautious, tentative chad we've seen the last two fights.
chad needs to be "bad" chad again, rather than being just bad.
