You have to be realistic these guys fight for money. Also as of right now the only way Sergio will be remembered is if he fights Mayweather think about that?
As much as people think Sergio is good fighter the guy is not even a hall of famer.

Also they would not fight at 160 so that Middlewight champ **** is moot

I mean can we even say Sergio is that different from lara? (crazy question dont go nuts people)

Yeah moneywise you got me there. But again, in terms of legacy it would be huge.

How like I am failing to see it legacy wise what has Sergio proved? I am a fan of his but what has he done to propel Mayweather legacy especially since if the fight ever happen it would be at 154?

Sergio proved that he is the best MW in the world right now. Sergio is a top 5 p4p fighter right now. IF it was at middle or for a title at 154 it would have the danger factor. Sergio is a tougher and more dangerous fight for PBF than Pac. In terms of legacy shouldn't the toughest fight determine the biggest jump up in legacy? I think so.

You think so but it doesn't. If Segio retied right now would he make the hall? If Manny retired right now would he make the hall? is Sergio top 100 ever ? How about Manny?

Martinez is more dangerous IMO thus better for Floyd's legacy.

Is Sergio a tougher fight? Yes. But I get what you mean. Like I said previously. A win over Martinez SHOULD be better for his legacy because it's the tougher fight, but unfortunately it wouldn't in history's eyes. Im with ya there, I agree. BUT, IMO the tougher fight is the tougher fight. History wouldn't see it that way, but it's the truth.
