    Moved up to 140.

You still pissed off about the situation, Dunk? Or are you back into full jock-hugging mode? ;)

RICKY BURNS can become Scotland's first two-weight world champion this century when he challenges for the vacant interim WBO world-lightweight title.
It will be great for WBO world super-featherweight champ Ricky if he wins, as the last Scot to do it was Paul Weir in 1995.

Depends what the big announcement is my good man! I have vented my frustrations but am waiting and hoping that the big announcement makes me a happy man again... in other words like everyone else here, im waiting on the big announcement!

Fans, haters alike, we are all in limbo just now until the announcement is made & when it is, then let the games begin;)

Fair enough mate. Whatever the announcement I'll probably still be disappointed that he isn't fighting Broner. That would have been a great fight for him. HBO exposure, very winnable fight, top 5 fighter. If it's another gift of a fight like the last 3 then surely even yourself can't defend it. I just want to see him in another/more competitive fights so we can see just how good it is. We're in danger of having another Scott Harrison situation in that he won't have that big landmark fight.

So that's why Billy nelson was so quiet, well as long as it's a good opponent I'll be happy

I love how seemingly "knowledgeable" boxing fans on here jump on burns' back Like he chooses who he fights. ****** makes the fights and burns has to fight these opponents as he is under contract. Personally I'm not bothered what weight or for what belt he fights for as long as its against a good opponent.

It doesn't matter who chooses the fights, Burns is the one that will take the blame. I think most of us actually like Ricky Burns and want to see him try against the best in the world but no doubt he's currently a joke of a champion and this sudden move up to fight for a vacant interim title is hilarious.

I've seen that Rahimov once before, think it was on some Russian card (Jones vs Lebedev? I can't remember) Anyway I wasn't too impressed with him, either Burns or Mitchell should beat hi and I bet F-Wazza would love to bring him over for the title if JMM vacates.

I dont think anyone could argue with that if it comes off. Hope you both push for it and dont take no for an answer.

Would that be in Glasgow or have to be in London?
