Who has the more lethal overhand right?

Perhaps we should ask Golota.

 

OR Rudduck Tyson landed the best right hand in that sequence, but you can't base it against 1 fighter. Lennox is more consistant with his right at the top level

 

If only Bowe had fought Ruddock.

Tyson landed a huge right hand but Golota actually recovered well from it. I'd say he was more hurt against Bowe and Lewis although that's mostly because they were able to follow it up. When asked who hit him the hardest, Golota said something to the effect that even a punch from a light hitter can hurt the toughest fighter in certain circumstances. That's boxing. He could not separate who punched harder out of the three.

Golota became so scared of Bowe's wild right hands, the only thing keeping Bowe in the fight, that Golota went below the belt in order to keep him down.

 

There's no point asking a fighter 'who hit hardest' though, because rarely does a fighter land his outright biggest punch. Fighter A may land his biggest haymaker, where as hard hitting Fighter B may land a punch he hasn't got his bodyweight fully into but have more power overall. It doesn't make Fighter A a bigger puncher.

 

I'm sure it affected Golota mentally, what setback doesn't, but he did not appear to be very stunned. There was just so much force in the punch that he went down. The punch on Botha as well as the infamous haymaker on Michael Jack Johnson landed more flush.

Bowe's right was almost always overhand. Lewis threw a better straight righthand, but Bowes wasnt too shabby. Tyson's was **** in his comback. Off balance looping mess, regardless of what it did to Golota.
