Most people (even the experts) thought Haye would be way faster than Wlad. He wasn't. Who knows how fast Vitali can be? I want to see signs of that tonight.
I was saying before the fight Haye didn't have that much of a speed advantage over Wladimir, he had a slight one but not the gap people claimed he had. It'll be intresting to see how Vitali goes about business tonight
To be honest I think Haye could land more on Vitali that he did on Wlad, but everyone knows who only turned up to get paid.
Im not going to sit and claim to be the expert on Adam Booth, but for aslong as I have known of him thats all that stands out, so tell me what else has he done?
I'd familiarise yourself with Haye's career 2003-2009. He's fairly instrumental in it. Performances against Mormeck, Enzo and Valuev stand out.
That seems a bit harsh, nobody has KO'd Adamek in 40 odd fights and he has fought very good opposition. Adamek will not go down easy tonight, this fight will certainly go into the later rounds.
haye is just an embarrassment to himself and to his fans just **** off and retire. he's never entertained the fans, he's always ran from his opponents, all he does is talk up a big fight, but then run for 12 rounds. i wouldnt watch another one of his fights, besides them being boring, the guy has too little respect for his opponents, and its just annoying
He did well with Haye admittedly, silver medal at world championships, unifiying the cruisers and a fairly weak title at heavy. I was impressed with the Mormeck fight, as for Enzo are you serious??? Enzo lost that fight before he got in the ring, nothing to do with Booth, he was just head ****ed. As for the Valuev victory please elaborate as I didn't see anything special there. Valuev lost to holyfield prior to his fight with Haye. I could have been in Hayes corner that night and got him that result! He is a decent coach, but to go into a fight against the Klitschko's who are dominating that division with ease, with a 'decent' coach is crazy. Watching Booth in the corner whilst Haye was getting his head jabbed off and what did he say? What plan B did he implement. I personally would want to go back to Roach rather than the decent Booth.
Let's have haye/vitali in december, then povetkin in the spring and a big summer rematch with vladimir, all three fights are winnable for haye, he just underestimated Vladimir and I think he didn't realise that glass chin wasn't as bad as it had shown in the past plus that toe probly didn't help.
On the subject of what booth did during the haye/Vladimir fight I do believe sky didn't show one bit of what booth was saying to haye in-between rounds, shockin!
****, I forgot about Enzo's journey of doom detour to Mickey's. It was the same gameplan against Valuev that you were so impressed by when Groves implemented it against DeGale. It just sounds like you've fell into the 'one bad performance, must change trainer' mentality.
