    Round 9

McCloskey keeps turning out the right jab, and ducking his head down into his own chest. Prescott throws to the body and is warned by Howard Foster for going low. McCloskey gets a bit of a breather. Prescott tries to block with a high guard but McCloskey is whipping out shots that are anything but straight, hitting from around the sides. Prescott is backed up to the ropes and slides along nearly into the corner as McCloskey's right jab blurs in his field of vision. Nice left by McCloskey, but a nice right by Prescott. Uppercut by Prescott as he spins on his heel to keep squared to McCloskey. Left hand to the body by McCloskey.

    10-9 McCloskey

    86-84 Prescott

87-83 Prescott, McCloskey doing the better work again against a tired Prescott.

Prescott is blowing it. Fighting off the back foot and not countering McCloskey as much. McCloskey's left is getting though more and more now.

    87-83 Prescott.

McCloskey threw more, but only land maybe 2 body shots. Prescott cut the jab back on and repeatedly walked McCloskey into rights against. Prescott doesn't have the power at 140 it seems.

    Round 1 10 - 8 Prescott
    Round 2 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 3 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 4 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 5 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 6 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 7 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 8 10 - 9 McCloskey
    Round 9 10 - 9 Prescott

There was a thread about how Ghanians are always getting robbed. I wonder how Colombians do in Belfast?

    12. Eliminator.

Winner in theory gets Khan in a WBA title rematch.

    Round 10

McCloskey is landing right jabs and smacking up high with overhand lefts coming forward. Prescott is backed into a corner but is landing his own rights across the top of McCloskey's faux-hawk. McCloskey eases off to let Prescott out of the corner but is still throwing a high volume, mixing lefts in to the body. Prescott stays pat on the outside, throwing low jabs at the belt line. McCloskey pulls his head back to just get tickled by a couple of jabs and winds up in range to line up a long left hand to the face.

    Very close round.

    95-94 Prescott

    10-9 Prescott

    97-92

McCloskey's offense is all energy, no effective landing...

Prescott outclassed McCloskey again, despite the home town announcers. He landed the jab again, his left hand couldn't miss McCloskey and neither could the right. McCloskey couldn't mount any offense, everything was wide and Prescott either rolled or blocked his work
