I just thought vitali was ****. my summation os his qualities was listed previously, see: feather fisted, robotic, slow, old etc.
interesting, you felt that the man with the highest knockout rate in the history of the HW division was feather fisted.
tl;dr as i said, pre-fight i saw vitali as wank. if he goes on to beat haye i'll be convinced about his h2h capability against smaller more mobile quicker opponents. maybe you rated vitali more than i did this time yesterday i dunno?
I do have Vitali in my top 20 but just barely.. Both brothers are great heavy weights in a **** poor era in the heavy weight division.
I told Adamek fans before the fight that Marciano would've had a greater chance (A thread was made on it) but they didn't want to believe me.
haye overtook that rstio after stopping audley. the ratio means **** all, when was the last time vitali flattened an opponent?
Adamek is not very good. He's tough and has heart but he is a mediocre Heavyweight. It's amazing he's the 3rd best HW today (I guess it's a case of ranking not matching actuality). But again this is a climate where the top HWs don't even face each other so who knows what their real worth is. You're not going to prove that against Grant or McBride. At the same time, I don't think Vitali looked great. He was his usual self. Looked bad early in terms of his speed and accuracy. I guess you thought Vitali was equal to Jess Williard. No, he's not quite that bad.
I was not impressed by Vitali's performance. He looked like a slugger. He was way better in his fights against Lennox Lewis, Danny Williams, Chris Arreola or even Shannon Briggs. To me, he looked good tonight, but not as good as other times. And well that's obvious because he's 40 and past his prime.
Sosnowski got flattened. Anyway, no way in hell are you stopping 39 of 42 opponents if you're feather fisted.
