it was a good victory for vitali but ffs stop overrating it

rocky does carry a huge punch, but I dobt he'd tag vitali cleanly in the jaw.

over a long distance no HW in history is as well conditioned as rocky was, I firmly believe that.

however you say it yourself, over 12 vitali take it.

 

look it was such an impressive performance i am not certain that no heavyweight in history would be able to win a single round against vitali.

yeah thats bad, I kind of get it though, this one guy says to me look at how many different types of punches tyson threw, fast and powerfull. this is like a big man taking it easy with 1/2's all night.
I think a fight like gamboa vs ponce de leon is something people might enjoy more but since its so late and not on tv, they arent staying up for it.

 

Yeah it seems all the big fights that get alot of hype (I watch with casuals) are disappointments and makes me look like a ***** when I keep hyping Boxing up as being better than football to them atsch

For me, rocky was suited to the "fight to the finish" era. He had an iron will and solid determination. Over unlimited rounds i'm not sure who could beat him.

In a boxing match he has flaws and deficiencies that could be exploited imo.

Whether or not vitali is able to exploit them we'll never ever know.

 

Marciano was a good 2 inches shorter and about 20 lbs lighter than Adamek and he fought out of a crouch, making himself loook even shorter. . .just sayin.

 

We are talking about 60lb difference in weight, 8 inches in height and over 10 inches in reach. That, plus Rocky come-forward style and Rocky will be lucky to make it to the hospital. That or Rocky gets disqualified for ducking below opponents waistline.
Fortunately, that fight never gets sanctioned with today's weight difference limits.

 

How much punishment would Rocky have to take in order to get inside on Vitaly? Rocky always took huge punishment in his fights even againt guys 6ft and under.


With today's squeamish referees, they would not not allow Rock to take the amount of punishment he would need to take in order to start getting at Klitschko.


Midrounds referee or MD stoppage. Not even with Smoger as referee would Rocky be allowed to continue after about 6-7 rounds of a one-sided beatdown.
