to make the fight more interesting for all the people and get some rounds under his belt this year after the solis fiasco, I think he was trying to get rid of him from the middle rounds though.

Vitaly is a sadistic, evil man. Don't let the cultured, multilingual PHD **** fool you. He is quite vicious. He likes to save energy and not go all out, so as to slowly torment and punish his opponents.

Kirk Johnson was the last guy he took out in a hurry and that was before the comeback.

thanks for starting this tread! it´s because of commercials, money and so on. maybe it´s also because vit is a sadistic person who wants to get "quality" sparring in front of 40.000 audience. really, i´m disgusted about the way it went. it was more cruel than ali vs. patterson...

Indeed he is. He looks like a KGB agent who's about to interrogate and torture you with hot irons and steel plated knuckles.

honestly I think there was too much respect Adamek didnt talk **** to him the way Haye had or others had and once that 1st round came about I think Vitali knew he could take him out any time but I also think he didnt want to hurt Adamek

I saw numerous opportunities. Rd 2,3 and Tomas wanted it stopped in rd6 and IMO Vitali purposely carried him. Then Vitali literally took 2 whole rds off.

Well, it's interesting, because ordinarily as soon as Vitali buzzes someone, he goes into an unending combination until he lays them spark out in the early rounds.

It looked to me like Vit could have just crushed him in round 1.

It was a joke of a fight that should have never been allowed to happen.

:patsch:lol: Yes, the number three heavyweight should not be allowed to face the number 1 ranked heavyweight. It's a gawdamn disgrace is what it is.

Clearly you have not been following boxing for long.

Did you watch the fight, if you did, you'll agree with my conclusion.

He mistook him for Larry Holmes's jockstrap.
