They both lost every round and were utterly dominated. The difference is one kept trying to win and the other chose to flop around on the floor whenever possible.

    So, no.

i have no problem with adamek wanting to quit at some point...4 years ago tomaz was fighting a skinny 175 pound chad dawson.... where as Haye would have to melt down to make cruiser....i have 50 posts stating how much of a mismatch this was gonna be....when you have no power, no speed, your small for a heavyweight...and you fight a 6 foot 8 guy with some power and skill...this is what happens....all adamek had was balls and that wasnt nearly enough

I thought that tactic was fair enough Vs Wlad. We all know Wlad likes to lean on people.

It's either flop every round or spend the whole fight squatting Wlad's massive body weight.

With all due respect, Haye was even flopping when Wlad threw jabs.

It is a great strategy though, pleasing a man's **** to stop him from killing you. Happens in prison all the time, ask Bernard Hopkins.

i mean the big mouth **** head had an answer for everything....do you not remember when posed that question? he said he would have an answer for any dirty tactics like leaning or pushing down...of course once he found his way in the ring, he didnt have another answer the rest of the night

Haye did do better. But Adamek tried harder.

So Haye performed better when not giving it his all than Adamek did when he gave it his all?

Some of the hate Adamek is getting is disgusting. He was overmatched and almost no one outside of the Poles gave him a chance of winning, but he didn't run. He could have found lots of ways out of that fight but he took his beating

Haye did put on a better show against Wlad though. He never really looked faded in the fight and fought his usual gameplan at heavyweight, always staying our of range and potshotting/throwing combinations occasionally. He landed more and took fewer punches. The difference is Haye had a chance stylistically, and it is easier to fight Haye's style and lose than it is to fight Adamek's and lose. Also, Adamek can probably walk away thinking there was not much more he could do. There were no risk he could have taken to give him a better shot. In Haye's case that probably isn't true

    That's a fair distinction.

Haye didn't fight Vitali. VK and WK are two completely different fighters. What the hell is wrong with these casual fans?:patsch

    i dont know about that

Haye took less damage but took less risks

Adamek took more damage but took more risks

Adamek stood his ground and punched and tried and was aggressive

Haye ran avoided action and won 1 round all on a bs deduction outside of that he lost every round

How the **** did Haye run when he stood in front of Wlad for the majority with his hands by his waist?:patsch

Haye actually won a few rounds and landed the best punch of the fight.

Adamek is an average heavyweight. Nothing more, nothing less.
