    I don't see this fight ever happening. However, it's worth pointing out that when Pac was at 130, there were threads on here about him fighting Cotto. The people who suggested this fight were ridiculed. Eventually, Pac made the trek 15 lbs. north and destroyed Cotto. Gamboa is 14lbs. south of 140. Just saying.

    Gamboa is naturally around 140 come fight night...so this fight is genuinely a plausible one (as is Rios v Pacquiao)

    Is Gamboa gonna jumb across 3 weight classes to fight Pacquiao? That's funny! He can't survive the first 6 rounds against Pacman IMO.

    And the reason is because your Countries have been free to participate in any pro sports they want since eternity but Cuba has been denied that opportunity since 1959. But don't worry, we are gaining a lot of ground very quickly. Pretty soon we will have 4 World Champs at the same time, Gamboa, Rigondeaux, Lara and YP Hernandez and more are coming! Oh, and this is just with a very small group of Cuban defectors as 95% of our main fighters are still trapped inside Communist Cuba. :fire

    As of right now, Pac KO's Gamboa in 1. Pac is just too fast, too strong and a lot more accurate than anybody that gamboa has ever fought.

    it's not only about size, it's about ability and size. Pac is a certified ATG, best fighter of his era, p4p king. Gamboa is not even (or barely) top10 p4p. That's on top of being much bigger.

    I don't think it's ironic at all.
