And he is likely to lose some speed moving up in weight.

Which reminds me. Did anyone else think Gamboa did not look superfast in this fight?

When you are as ultra talented as Gamboa, he needs someone to push him. We haven't seen his ceiling yet, and until he's truely challenged we won't know what he's capable of. He dominated Ponce De Leon, going half assed.

Unfortunatly guns, knives, baseball bats etc aren't allowed in the ring.

Be proud of your countryman, not delusional, PAC destroys Gamboa.

No one was attatching thes labels to Pac until he started beating WWs and Mayweather retired. You never know what could happen in two years. What if Gamboa is still very fast and a big puncher at 140? What if he fights Pac shortly after Pac suffers a horrific beating like Cotto? Yeah, it's very ironic that people are sneering at the possibiliy of this fight.

Well I gotta go with your opinion--since your moniker is blur!

    Cool.

Dude just did not look his usual superfast self.
I checked now on his age.
I thought he was like 24-25. He is 29, and will be 30 in 3 months.
    Is he slowing down?

Gamboa was 138 in the ring, Manny is usually 146 in the ring...not the big gap that it seems really. Admittedly Gamboa would be the smaller man he's a huge guy for a featherweight.

he looked really fast against solis and that was just months ago. was knocked down by salido but won the fight though!

i think its best to see salido and gamboa on a rematch!

Actually Gamboa has stated that floyd is the best and he would beat Pac.

Gamboa wont make it past Donaire to get to Pac. Perhaps thats why he's trying to bypass him.

How's he trying to bypass Donaire? Donaire still fights two divisions below him. People get on fighters for looking below their division for fights instead of above. Well, Gamboa is looking well above his division.

You only highlighted two of the three though, and I was calling Pac the best of his era before he ever fought Oscar as were other several people. He was also p4p king before he fought Oscar as well (after beating Diaz), so your statement is false.

My mistake, I forgot that your opinion is the one that counts. I made the mistake of the thinking the general consensus was more valid

I said he didn't get those labels until after he started beating WWs and after Mayweather retired. Was he p4p number 1 before Mayweather retired? No he was not. So my statement wasn't false.

He's never proven himself against the best at LW and above. The sneering will muffle itself only when he moves up in weight and starts killing bigger elite level fighters.
